13 April 2010 - Garden opening

The opening of the garden on Easter Drylaw Way went very well with only one shower of rain that watered the plants in nicely. I am having a few problems trying to get the pictures on the website but will keep trying. In the meantime why not enjoy the spring sunshine and visit the gardens in person. 
 

28 March 2010 - Garden Grand Opening

 Saturday 3rd April 12:00-16:00 -Planting Day at the Garden

Come along and help transform the space from bare ground into a garden in time for the open day. All ages welcome.

 

Sunday 4th April 14:00-16:00 -Grand Opening

 Easter egg hunt, planting, craft activities, gardening advice, tea and cakes. Bring along plants you don't need for our plant swap stall.

 

BTCV will be helping us clear the site on the 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st March. Helpers are welcome to come along for some fresh air, fun, exercise and lots of cups of tea.

 

11 February 2010 - Get Gardening

A new garden is being created on the open space at the end of the car park on Easter Drylaw Way.

 

Come and see the plans, meet other interested people, discover more about other community garden ideas around North Edinburgh and shape how they will look.

Please put the 3rd and 4th April in you diary as this will be the official opening weekend of the garden. Look out for more information nearer the time.

 

15 December 2009 - Consultation Starting

We will be out in some parts of Drylaw today starting our door to door surveys to ask local people there opinion on Community Gardens.
